VINCENT, Ohio, Nov. 5, 2012 /NEWS.GNOM.ES-iReach/ — Today, Southern Ohio Energy Consultants, in the capacity of exclusive consultant and adviser to Utica Shale mineral owners, announces that the company continues to represent 95,000 acres of Utica Shale located in the “rich condensate” and “oil” phases of the Utica Shale in Washington, Athens, Meigs, Muskingum, and Perry Counties in the South Eastern Ohio. This acreage position is available for lease and is off-set to Anadarko’s (APC) and Antero Resources production in Noble County Ohio.
Southern Ohio Energy Consultants (SOEC) represents individual mineral owners exclusively in this area by virtue of a written agreement granted by each mineral owner the firm represents. The firm is comprised of industry professionals with experience in horizontal shale plays to facilitate organization, education of mineral owners, and negotiations with horizontal operators.
In July SOEC consummated a deal for mineral owners in Northern Washington County, Ohio with PDC Energy, headquartered in Denver Colorado. This region of the Utica Shale continues to see increased activity by horizontal operators as a better understanding of the geology of the region is gained.
SOEC will be attending the NAPE expo this winter in Houston Texas February 7-8, 2013 to showcase any acreage that is still available at that time. Inquiries from operators or their representatives that are interested in learning more about the acreage positions are encouraged to contact the firm at (740)-818-6091 or visit the corporate website at www.southernohioenergyconsultantsllc.com
